news | Jamee and RNLI volunteering

Never one to turn down an opportunity, Jamee has recently become a volunteer Press Officer with the RNLI. The role will see her build and maintain relationships with local press, radio, television and online media, this should be no problem for Jamee being a PR master!

On her new role Jamee commented: “I am so excited to meet all of the volunteers and to understand a bit more about what RNLI Aberdeen does. I was really surprised to learn that the RNLI receives no funding from the government, relying solely on charitable donations. This makes my profile-raising role more important than ever and I can’t wait to see where I can help.”
