Well construction specialist DeltaTek, an Expro company (DeltaTek), has been awarded the prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise for Innovation. Presented by Lord Provost of Aberdeen, David Cameron, the award recognises the substantial impact DeltaTek’s Cure technology has had on the UK energy industry.
Announced on April 21st 2023, in honour of the late Queen Elizabeth II’s birthday, The King’s Award for Enterprise celebrates the outstanding success and significant contribution of businesses across the country, with DeltaTek receiving the coveted accolade in recognition for its pioneering innovations.
This award win marks continued success for DeltaTek, which announced its acquisition by energy services company, Expro, in February of this year. Recognised globally for its pioneering technologies, DeltaTek is paving the way to Ultimate Cement Placement through risk elimination, cost reductions and over 70% reduced wait on cement times. With sights firmly set on accelerated global ambitions, DeltaTek aims to replicate its impressive milestones achieved in the UK on an international scale.
Commenting on the award ceremony - which took place at DeltaTek’s new headquarters in Altens – Founder, Tristam Horn, said : “Winning The King’s Award for Enterprise is an outstanding achievement of which I am extremely privileged to be receiving. I am so grateful to be working with such a talented and driven team and having our work recognised to this level is a surreal moment when the company was only founded in 2015, with only a concept in mind, we could have never imagined we would be presented with this only a few years later.”
It is estimated that DeltaTek’s disruptive solutions have contributed to 80% of the UK subsea well construction market in 2022 in addition to saving approximately 11,000MT of CO2 through Ultimate Cement Placement.
