CASE STUDY | Montrose Port Authority (MPA)

thinkCreative was appointed to refresh its brand and develop its new website.

Its existing website was information-heavy, difficult to navigate, non-responsive and did not convey the personality of the Port. Working in conjunction with thinkPR, we worked with a range of MPA personnel to ensure we created content that was significantly abridged, yet provided its wide-ranging audience with the vital data required, across several areas. Fundamental to the design was an easy translation to responsive technology.

the process

To create a brand and web site that would reflect the forward thinking that Montrose had adopted over the past three years and place them in the forefront of the industry for the services they provide.

After discovery meetings we developed a navigation and page layout that was easy to navigate and find key information that maritime and commercial users require. We also developed a logo that was in-keeping with a variety of existing versions, but developing this in to a new fresh professional brand. To assist in driving traffic to the site, we have developed a web cam option, encouraging both commercial and leisure visitors to visit the site on a regular basis.
