Rising to the top – from start up to ‘household name’

DeltaTek launched in 2015, during one of the oil and gas industry’s most challenging downturns. The business has steadily gained attention and in 2018 was awarded its first field-trial with The Oil and Gas Technology Centre (OGTC). DeltaTek engaged think to develop and implement an effective PR strategy, execute a strategic digital marketing plan and raise the profile of its growing business.

DeltaTek had been successful in securing field trials for their SeaCure technology on the UKCS. Working closely with DeltaTek, think developed a comprehensive PR plan that included local and global media coverage, industry award entries, exhibitions, speaking opportunities at events and technical features in renowned global publications.

In addition to an ongoing PR plan, think worked with DeltaTek to produce a 12 month marketing plan including content creation, website content development, SEO/technical support and social media management.

The combination of ongoing PR and marketing has been integral to supporting the business as it has grown, developing new technologies and adding personnel in global locations. Activity has included establishing a strong brand presence and celebrating the successes of the business.

DeltaTek has now launched eight technologies, employs 11 people globally and continues to internationalise the business. It has been featured in global publications, enjoyed extensive media coverage and team members have spoken at major industry events. DeltaTek has also provided encouragement and motivation to other start-up businesses, who have looked to DeltaTek for advice and guidance.
