Creating an event identity

As a longstanding client of think, Decom North Sea (DNS) came to thinkCreative looking for support developing a strong identity for its flagship event, Decom Offshore. The design for the show had to be reflective and complementary of the DNS brand, but with its own individuality and edge.

the process

Using the Decom ‘D’ to create consistency across the whole event, thinkCreative employed the same purple and blue colour scheme as the DNS brand to ensure a visual connection between the event and host.

The two main event areas, the main stage and the parallel sections, were split into two further sections identifiable by the colours, helping to give them their own identity within the programme and stand design.

Developing everything from lanyards and bags, to print collateral and stand design – a clear and bold look was achieved across the whole event, using the large stage back drop and directional lecterns to showcase the main sponsored logos.

In addition to the show, thinkCreative produced a major report in line with refresh.
