ThinkPR Celebrates Record Year for Growth

Here at ThinkPR, we have celebrated the end of a record year for the business by doubling our staff numbers, moving to new premises and securing more than £100,000 of new business in the last six months.

In addition to this, we have been awarded work recently with a number of oil and gas companies to promote their work globally, as well as providing in-house communications resources.

This new work has resulted in ThinkPR increasing its presence in Norway and Middle East, as well as working with firms in Aberdeen, Norwich and in the Central Belt.  New clients include Alphastrut (owned by Murray Metals Group), N-Sea, Frontier International, Kongsberg Maritime and Dubai-based companies Marsol and Akrugo. In addition, work has continued with leading industry groups SPE Aberdeen and Decom North Sea.

We have made a number of new appointments in our PR, design and emergency response divisions bringing staff numbers up to 18, growing from 11 at the start of the year. In line with this growth, we moved to our newly renovated three floor building in the centre of Aberdeen in July.

2014 has also been a year dedicated to fundraising with our ‘10 years, £10k’ campaign in aid of the Alfie Milne Trust.  The team has raised £9,400 to date through events and initiatives and aims to hit the ambitious target before its year-end in May.

“The majority of our work continues to be energy-industry based and we represent a broad range of companies from start-ups to PLCs, while we also have clients representing the financial, property, IT and consumer sectors.  We have also experienced increased demand from clients who require an in-house communications resource, both on a temporary and permanent basis.
