Going for Gold
Scotland returned from the Gold Coast with a total of 44 medals this year, the nation’s second highest tally in Commonwealth Games history. Here at think our team has been inspired, celebrating our own ‘medal’ success, and I think it’s fair to say we’re on a winning streak when it comes to creating award-winning entries!
We kicked off our wins at this year’s SubseaUK awards back in February, where our client AgileTek was crowned worthy winner of Best Small Company. The subsea engineering analysis consultancy company was acknowledged for its rapid and strong growth since inception in 2015, along with its experienced team, which includes business acumen, engineering qualification, industry experience and software development.
Up next, the ‘Industry’s Oscars’, otherwise known as the Offshore Achievement Awards. Now in its 32nd year, the Awards are a celebration of industry talent, innovation and enthusiasm, and this year we had four clients shortlisted across six categories, with three winners on the night!
Our winners were:
- Innovator Award: BiSN
- Great Company Award: BiSN
- Export Achievement: Coretrax Technology
The Offshore Achievement Awards are a highlight of the industry’s social calendar, especially for team think - we’re already counting down to next year (only six months until entries open!)
We’re also celebrating a shortlist for this year’s cHeRies awards. Alasdair Howe, iSURVEY’s HR/Personnel Coordinator has been shortlisted for the Fantastic HR Advisor accolade. With winners announced on 1 June we have our fingers crossed for Alasdair and the iSURVEY team!
And last but not least, our most recent celebration has come from the Queen’s Awards.
The Awards acknowledge exceptional businesses across the UK, celebrating the cream of the country’s entrepreneurs and innovative minds. This year our client, Hydro Group, has been presented with the prestigious award for Enterprise: International Trade.
Awards, whether for yourself or your company, are an excellent way for advancing your brand and shining a spotlight on what sets your business apart from its competitor – at the end of the day, isn’t that what everyone wants?
