Esslemont Marquees - Rebrand & Website Design
Aberdeen-based Esslemont Marquees supplies high-end marquees for private and corporate events including weddings, private or corporate parties, exhibitions and shows.
Following thinkCreative’s successful rebranding of Esslemont Marquees, the team was tasked with developing a new website to increase brand awareness and showcase the range of events the business can cater for.
The site needed to appeal and relate to two markets – corporate and private hire – while also communicating the passionate and dedicated team behind Esslemont Marquees, and highlighting its expertise, focus on health and safety, and reliable and punctual service.
The website was carefully designed to present the Esslemont’s key messages to its two key markets, with a full SEO review performed to increase the website’s visibility in search engines for its target audience. Each step of the process included Esslemont’s input and opinions, creating an end product that best represented them.
The final site is very image focused, using large photographic headers and visuals throughout to provide a strong aesthetic impact on the page, and allowing the audience to see the range of marquees available.
To ensure both target markets were catered for, separate tailored sections of the website were developed, considering the different viewpoint and requirement of the user throughout.
The private section adopted a softer feel, with a show reel to highlight previous marquee set ups, helping the user to envisage their big day. The corporate section focused on a clear, detailed and functional display, highlighting the potential corporate application of the marquee e.g. exhibition, trade stand, conferences.
To further help the user figure out what they require, interactive elements such as a measuring tool were incorporated, allowing visitors to gauge what size of marquee they need, and how it would fit in their desired space.
thinkCreative also positioned the contact details and enquiry forms in a prime location, encouraging the visitor to talk directly to a member of the team should they have any questions about their event.
